AI, or Artificial Intelligence, refers to the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions), and self-correction. AI can be categorized into two types: narrow AI and general AI. Narrow AI, also known as weak AI, is designed to perform a narrow task, such as facial recognition or internet searches. General AI, also known as strong AI, is a hypothetical form of AI that possesses the ability to understand, learn, and apply knowledge across different domains in a manner similar to human intelligence.
